What is the state of the pedestal's base? Does it sit on the floor or is the base open? The floor has drainage pipes that run into it. ?

There is apparently an open door, but as Mark said there is also a bar across the back.

What is the diameter of the hole under the sink? Where the lines would come up, I notice there is a small hole that has no use. ?

There is an overflow hole located at the back of the sink bowl underneath the faucet, which prevents the sink from overfilling should you unplug the faucet and forget to turn it off and put a stopper in the main drain.

There was poor quality in the finish

There was no damage to the sink when it arrived. It seems to be of a "seconds" quality, though. Black marks can be seen under the glaze on the outside of the bowl, which, unfortunately, are very visible when you enter There are other areas of the "TOTO" logo that appear to have been blotched over. It is a pity that we cannot wait for the return and replacement to be done before installing this device. So, beware of the quality that might be delivered. I can't imagine that this made it past the.

As a result of its rapid arrival, it was beneficial to In the barn there is a little washroom with it, and it is perfect for that place. A very nice clean-up is possible with it. It is a small ledge but you should be able to place a bar of soap on it if you choose to.
