It is a pleasure to hear from you. 3/16 inch is the distance between the ends of the shank.
Choosing Danco products is a wise decision. Seals made of rubber are not present. A plumber's putty is required to use this sink hole cover.
The places where these go never have a lot of water. If you put plumber's putty on top and around it, it'll prevent leaks The sink should remain leak-proof because splashed water will be diverted away from the bottom.
This comes in 3 pieces. There is the top shiny part on top of the sink hole with the attached screw through the hole, a bottom spacer that fits under the sink correctly, and a bottom part that is attached to the hole under the sink. All of it needs a nut to hold it This is a piece of cake.

We used it to cover an open hole under our sink when we moved to a more modern pull-out faucet The sprayer faucet can be turned on and off. According to my plumber, it has a "nasty" name among plumbers, but I won't say anything about it.
Although the idea of the product is good, it does not meet expectations in terms of quality. After my wife applied plumber's putty under the sink and screwed the two pieces together according to the directions, we reattached the sink. The bolt was easily removed from the top piece when we hand tightened the pieces together. It turned out to be so cheaply made that it could have been removed by hand. We threw it into the trash can.
In cases where your bathroom needs to be upgraded but you don't want to completely remodel the space The walls and everything in the bathroom are new, but you realize that they are trying to remove the new three-handle faucets, which are wonderful! When you realize that the only ones sold at the local DIY stores (Home Depot, Lowes, etc. ) are the 1 3/4 inch covers, and you need the 2 inch ones! Our covers weren't compatible with everything we bought and we had the entire setup ready for going. They arrived on Monday, the day after we ordered the same day we realized that (Saturday).
Simple chrome covers. Since I did not have plumbers putty to ensure a complete seal, I sealed them with household goop, as instructed. I bought the Kraus Carboflex faucet I got on Amazon for a far less expensive cost than I expected, and I mean far less, than I paid from any other seller. They were easy to install and look great on my stainless steel sink.
This pair of screws worked just fine. I've read other reviews complaining that the wingnut provided will strip when installing. If you are a gorilla who overtightens everything then that will certainly happen. This is not a very sturdy piece of equipment. A small bead of sealant under the cover worked just fine and I tightened it just enough to keep it in place. * I would suggest that the company install.
These holes are on the edge of the sink. They measure 11/2 inches wide. Two inches are measured on the top of the cover, and the lower part is slightly Don't wait until you get them to put them on.
The item does the job of plugging extra holes in your stainless sink, it is small but arrived in a big bubble bag, the plastic around the item had been squashed when it arrived and the item was not damaged or ruined.
The same pressure I used on the other cover was used here. As a whole, it's a product that's 50% quality, 50% cost.
