The pedestal sink was installed and working, but we had to add blocking in the back of the sink so that these bolts could be tightened. As soon as the blocking was in place, there was plenty of wood upon which these lag screws could latch onto and the sink weighed a good 30 lbs on solid ground. Material that is perfect for this purpose and easy to work with.
It is so easy to mount these, just drill a pilot hole and screw these into the wall or floor It's as if the sink and pedestal just appeared out of nowhere. These are super heavy duty, so I used them to mount the office furniture of my wife to the wall so she would think the world was tilting. I hung my Christmas tree from the ceiling so that Santa was confused. These are what I used to attach a grill to my shower so that I can stay clean while grilling! There are thousands of uses for this kit, so you won't regret the purchase!.
I found the product to be easy to use and of decent.
