Questions & Answers
It is not necessary to place a separate order for it.
It's possible to replace it, but it doesn't come with a rod drain.
I'm not sure. When purchasing the unit, make sure to read the ordering information. I don't have any reason to return it, so I'm not familiar with the policy.
We cut a square hole in the top of the quartz, I believe it was 2x2 (it had to clear the tailpiece nut), but keep in mind the first rule of successful installation: Make sure you have all of your installation materials on hand so you can measure twice and cut once!

For our bathroom, I wanted to go with a rustic/industrial theme. A 4" slab of ambrosia maple with a 1" pipe base was used to make a bathroom counter. Because the wood was too beautiful to cut a large hole in, vessel sinks that sit on top were chosen instead. I bought two. perfect!! We received them in two days thanks to Amazon Prime. They were extremely well packaged, which I greatly appreciate!.
This is something you should read. I needed three sinks, thank you very much. Three. br>br>I ordered three, two of which were perfect, and one of which I had to return due to a large dimple on the bottom. Reordered another, had a chip installed, and returned it. Another dimple was added to the reordering process. Reordered AGAIN (and their price went up), this time for a sink with a dimple on the bottom that made it rickety and impossible to install. I contacted customer service and expressed my dissatisfaction with the higher price. I was told to pound sand, so I ordered another in the hopes that THIS ONE would be okay. AT THE INJECTION POINT BELOW THE BOTTOM, THERE WAS ANOTHER DIMPLE. It'll be shaky as a result. Is it possible that you're just not up to the task? br>br>Instead of sending this one back, hoping against hope that the next one will be okay, I'm going to try sanding down the bottom to see if I can make it more stable. br>br>Lesson learned from the story: Order three sinks if you only need one, and return the two that aren't quite right. If you only need two, order six, and so on. br>Absurd. br>Irrational. br>br>Find a different vendor; there are plenty to choose from.
This is absolutely fantastic! heavy-duty usage It arrived in one piece in the mail. So that's a plus. It has the feel of a high-end sink and has a very upscale appearance. This sink does not offend me in any way. When I finish my project, I'll post photos of it here:.
And I don't mean just a smidgeon! br>br>I can't say enough good things about this sink. I ordered two of them for a major renovation. They were designed to fit into a standard old sink base cabinet with quartz counters that had been updated. br>br>(Warning - this is a dangerous game. ) Popup drains must be purchased - Ensure that the type you purchase is compatible with this sink - The type that does not overflow. )br>br>Installation costs are low for this vessel sink - Fabricators of counters typically charge between $250 and $500 per square foot. 275 PER CUTOUT for any orher sinks that are undermounted or have a slight countersink. They gave it to me for free because I screamed at the price for a simple round hole, which this sink requires: )br>br>I already had a lower, ADA height (lower) vanity base that I didn't want to replace. This raised sink allowed me to raise the usable height by a few inches, which made a huge difference. br>br>I paired it with a tall, single-deck faucet. Make sure to take into account the overall height and width of the faucet (projection overhang) to ensure that your faucet does not overhang or stop short of the sink center. Mine worked fine, but it was about 1/2 inch short of the vessel's center, and there was NO SPLASHING from the vessel sink. Color is the PERFECT match for a Quartz counter. br>br> It's not bright white and it's not muddy, as you can see in the picture.
In our master bath, we have two of these. To keep it from rocking, we used a small amount of caulk under each corner. It has a great look and drains faster than similar sinks we bought at a home improvement store. This is an excellent purchase.
It is very simple to set up. They quickly become filthy. The dark color makes everything visible, so you have to keep them clean all the time, but I still like how they look. To complement it, I purchased waterfall faucets. One suggestion for the faucets: keep them as close to the bowl as possible because the waterfall effect causes a lot of splashback.
It is not draining due to poor design! br>br>As nice as it "looks," this sink has a major design flaw that you will come to regret as you continue to use it: it does not drain! The sink's bottom is flat, so there's always a puddle of water there! For a product whose primary function is to drain water, this is a complete design failure. br>br>This failure cost me hours of work, materials, and money. Not only can I not get a refund, but I also have to spend hundreds of dollars to have them removed, purchase a proper sink, and pay for new installation. br>AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!.
I ordered two of them to renovate my bathroom, but I didn't realize they also came with faucets when I ordered them. I'm not able to comment on the faucets because we replaced them. The sink is a work of art in and of itself. I like how the sides are slightly slanted rather than being completely vertical. Cleaning is relatively simple. The only drawback is that I believe the finish around the drain is beginning to wear, which is unfortunate given that the sinks have only been in use for about a year. However, I'm the only one who notices it when I clean them. These sinks have only received positive feedback. I'd buy them again if the opportunity arose.
