How hot is one side and how cold is the other?

Installing the mount on the underside will leave two openings that will allow you to thread in the plumbing fittings. As the hot water line is usually smaller, the smaller opening is where you will connect the hot water line and the larger opening is where you will connect the cold water line.

Is this able to be installed in concrete slabs?

I agree so long as the rough in has been made through the concrete first.

The kohler rough-in valve doesn't seem to work What is the function of the integral stops on valves? In other words. When is the service going to stop? Would you mind if I shut off the entire house to service while I install my concrete floor installations?

Spending money well was worth it

Installing the tub required our contractor to install the mounting block to the floor joists before the tub arrived however, the tub still needed to be installed through a hole cut in the ceiling. While this might be an inconvenience, it was not unexpected when we remodeled our bathroom. With the filler, there is no wobble at all. It is essential that you follow mounting instructions BEFORE installing your bath tub so that the filler can be In order for the hand sprayer to drip in the tub and not on the floor, the mounting screws had to be loosened and the tub filler rotated. In this mounting block, four stainless steel slots are provided for enabling the filler to be rotated into the correct position when needed. If you remove a screw, be sure not to lose the locking washers. To take the washers out of the mounting block collar, I used a paper clip.
