Hello,br>br>This item does not fit your 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML 350. Standard 6-volt batteries are installed in your vehicle. lug nuts with a sharp point
This will not fit your GLE350, according to the parts compatibility information we have. The GLE350 appears to be equipped with a 6-volt battery. If you want to double-check, look at the 7th photo on this Amazon listing, which shows what type of lug nut this fits and what type it doesn't. It's designed to fit a flower-shaped type. Check your vehicle to see if it matches the description. However, it appears that this will not fit your vehicle based on the parts data alone.
If you have the "flower" shaped wheel bolts, it will work.
With a tire iron, most likely not. You can use a regular socket wrench, which is probably self-evident given that you can use an impact driver.

I was really looking forward to getting this yesterday from an Amazon pick up location. This tool, unfortunately, does not fit the Mercedes-Benz-Benz-Benz-Benz-Benz-Benz-Benz-Benz- My car is equipped with Mercedes-Benz components. My lug bolts with stainless steel caps are genuine Mercedes-Benz parts. They're in perfect condition and have only been handled once at the dealership. They haven't been twisted or bent in any way. This socket will only go on for about 1/8" before jamming. Right there, I came to a complete stop. I contacted Amazon right away and asked for a return authorization shipping form. I don't like being one of the few people who gave a negative review, but this time it's necessary. It just isn't feasible. To complete the job correctly and without causing damage, I ordered an Assenmacher specialty tool.
This is our first Mercedes (15' GLK350), and I enjoy performing routine maintenance on it. I thought the flower bolts needed a special key, so I used the OEM 17mm wrench to remove the flower cap, revealing a 16mm flower bolt underneath. A quick internet search led me to this page, and the socket is fantastic! The socket is very secure in its grip on the flower bolt. It struggled to remove the bolts that had been previously stripped with a 17mm socket, but I gently tapped in with a hammer to aid it in grasping the bolt. br>br>Feels nice and durable. Because I've already busted a cap off these flower bolts by hand, I didn't try/test it with an impact; only time will tell how durable it is, but it's working so far.
The ATLIN Protective Lug Nut Socket for Mercedes is a well-made product with a plastic cover that protects the wheels from damage. It was ordered because the Flower lug nuts had previously been removed by forcing/using a different style socket, resulting in a slight alteration of the lug nut's top. When the lug nuts were removed and reinstalled, this product fit perfectly and stayed in place. The item was delivered ahead of schedule. Simply put, the customer service and the socket both receive a five-star rating. I'll be checking out the ATLIN website to see what other high-quality items they have available.
If your lug bolts resemble the ones shown in the picture (Mercedes Part No. 000- 990- This tool is required for 07). A 17mm socket will do the job, but it will be ineffective and may damage the lug bolt heads. br>br>There is a common misconception that these lug bolts require a special tool - this is not the case. While holding the lug bolts in his hand, a MB dealer told me there was no special tool required, but he was clearly mistaken - and there's a good chance that this misunderstanding exists. br>br>It's also worth noting that part number 9903507 (or possibly 23933) from Febi is a suitable substitute for MB 000-. 990-.
Your European vehicle will benefit from summer tires. This was purchased for my Mercedes ML-class vehicle. After several lug bolts were stripped by the tire shop, the car was reduced to 350 pounds. Because I live in Wisconsin, I have to replace my winter tires every Spring and Fall. The socket is well-made and functions flawlessly. Many tire shops lack this tool and will attempt to use a 17mm socket instead. It's possible that the lug bolt head will be stripped as a result of this. I'll keep it in the trunk with the spare tire so it's always handy. In the event of a flat tire or tire damage, this is especially important. It was simple to place an order, and it arrived quickly.
Because I work at a tire shop in Beverly Hills, CA, I get to see a lot of high-end cars. I had no choice but to use a regular 17mm lugnut whenever I came across the Mercedes star lugnuts because that's all we had, and I didn't want to ruin the bolt heads. As a result, I made the decision to purchase one for myself. It appeals to me. It'll fit perfectly as long as the lugnut's head hasn't been damaged by using the incorrect socket too many times. br>The socket is coated, which I really like. It really does make a difference, and unlike uncoated impact sockets, it doesn't scratch the rims. br>br>Worth the money and a must-have for Mercedes mechanics and do-it-yourselfers.
A must-have for Mercedes Flower head lug fasteners to ensure that the head doesn't get rounded out and the regular socket doesn't get stuck in the socket, causing permanent damage. Keep this in your trunk with a lock and other accessories so you can use it for personal reasons or to go shopping. This is a socket that I wholeheartedly recommend.
With a 11/16 inch socket and a 17 mm socket, I striped three flower head bolts. I had a flat tire and needed to take out the bolts. With this socket, I hammered on the bolt head to remove the rounded head, then used the breaker bar and pipe on the wrench to loosen the bolt and pull it out. The outer green layer of steel adds additional strength to the black socket, preventing it from breaking. This socket is fantastic.
