As I understand it, the box itself is mounted on the stand by bolts, so it comes in multiple pieces that you simply slide together. You can put it together fairly easily. 50 dollars was the amount I paid. The mailbox was supposed to come with a simple mounting post, but there was none included with it. The price was $00 for a plain black mailbox.

Our previous mailbox had deteriorated so badly that we needed to replace it. As I recently moved to a very rural area, we have experienced a whole new world by having our own mailbox. Initially I was hesitant when my husband informed me that he would be installing it himself, so I researched things that would be easy for him to install. To stabilize the base, he added some pavers and beautifying bark. When all was set up, it probably took him an hour or two. Moreover, I love how modern the mailbox looks even though we live in the country.

It was easy to install this product. Seeing the white mailbox is lovely, it adds a nice touch to the mailbox and post. My new mailbox is from Gibraltar, like my old one. As long as the old one lasted, I expect this one to do the same.

In less than 30 minutes, you can set it up. reused the old base that was still good (it was cemented in, so I figured I might b) this was able to fit It's a nicer mailbox than the previous one, and I love the contrast with the colors of.

I suggest the manufacturer use Nylock nuts instead of cheap ace hardware screws and nuts in this kit for the price, and make the hardware package with the pole fit into the box better. Using a piece of wood and brick, we bent the hell out of the stand by driving it into the ground. The brackets that hold the pole to the box do not do a very good job of locking it on the pole. This is a very poor engineering job. As to how long it lasts, we will have to see.

This mailbox went together pretty easily, but I'm not sure if it is waterproof because it hasn't rained yet.

This is such a poor piece of work. The $20 doesn't seem to be worth it. Spend less time and money and less time being frustrated by doing this.
