I looked for a suitable transition from a ceramic board floor den to a stamped concrete sunroom for several hours. (1/4 - When I came across this, I was about to give up and go out and buy some material and try to make one on a table saw. This product fulfills my requirements perfectly and is far superior to anything I could have created myself. Simply cut to size, stain to taste, and adhere with a color-matched adhesive or caulking.

The length isn't exactly 36" and it's not square

It appears to be okay, but it is a bit pricey for what it is. If anyone is counting on it, it wasn't quite 36" long. I cut it down to 32", but the ends were not quite square, making a clean cut difficult; it works, but I wouldn't buy it again.

We needed a covering that was wider than normal to transition from a floating floor to a tile floor. This was ideal for us because it is durable and looks great after staining. The wood is lovely.

My real heart pine to fake pine wood floors have a perfect 1/4" transition. All it needs now is a coat of stain and a coat of polyurethane! Thank you so much for the sturdy wood!.
