Does it flatten?

In that case, no, it doesn't lay completely flat as it's a transition between hardwoods and carpets. The flooring lays flat, but it transitions from two different levels, so there is a slight difference in height (the slight ramp is so small that it does not put people in danger).

Could you please tell me if this is available in different colors?

The answer is yes

The maximum floor height difference this strip can handle is how high is the floor itself? It is nearly 5/8" in diameter and I was wondering if I could get this to ?

A transitional material between carpet and tile

Three of these have been purchased by me in my house to cover transitions from carpet to tile floors in the bathroom and bedroom. It was necessary to cut each one to fit and to cut a little from both ends, instead of just cutting off one end so that the nail holes would be proportional. It took just a few minutes for them to go in, but I had to admit, I was not a fan of the nails. It was straightforward to install them without any tiles breaking, but I thought screws would have been better. It would have made sense to purchase some screws to mount them if I had to do it all over again.

You can do it! There are several places in my apartment that need some metal carpet trim, so we split up a few pieces, removed the old carpet trim strips, and replaced them with these new carpet trim strips

These spots look MUCH better now! In my case, I got it in a huge box, but the packaging was not damaged to the point of being useless. I was provided with some long carpet strip nails, but they were not long enough in my case and I already had longer and stronger nails for this I had no issues with this order at all. Easy to order, easy to install and easy to trim down. This is a 5 star review!.

The item can be repaired at best if it has damage in some other way

In regards to this purchase, I have mixed feelings. It is as follows that disturbs me In addition to bent the item at a 45 degree angle, the person who picked up the order and prepared it for delivery also stuck it in the box at an angle of five inches. In any event, if the item was damaged in some other way before being put in the box, why on You are being so spiteful when you do things like that that ruin your reputation. Once I straightened the item it was fine, although I had to cut it to size anyhow. A product you buy new shouldn't be intentionally damaged during shipping. I would have given it five stars if it hadn't been damaged during shipping.

Almost everything you need for installation is included in the package (nails) minus the tools, A smooth surface that was easy to trim with an electric saw and installed over the carpet and tile intersection of a door jamb. An angled edge was the perfect solution for the slight difference in heights. The road is durable, and it is still holding up when heavy traffic comes through.

The price was reasonable and the job was well done! I am very happy with this. I was able to get the job done very quickly and to my satisfaction. I hope we won't need to replace that carpet for at least a couple more years since this was a good (and inexpensive, and easy) solution. This was the last wide enough one we were able to find, but it was necessary in order.
