It's just a piece of metal, after all.
They must be purchased separately.
It would be extremely difficult to bend it into a flat 1/2" trim piece.
It isn't a mirror finish in its current state. It's just a satin finish with a smooth surface. I haven't tried buffing it to a lustrous sheen yet. You could probably get a little more shine out of it with a buffing wheel, but if you want something more, you'll have to go with a "chrome" finish.

One of the things I expect when I purchase a "Flat Bar" is that it will be flat. Instead, it was delivered with a nearly right angle bend about 3/4 of the way down. It's especially vexing that the box is long enough to ship an actual 48-hour package. flat bar of inch width.
Extrusion endcaps with a diameter of 40mm are suitable. This is much softer than anticipated, and as a result, it's best used as trim that's carefully secured. Fortunately, I decided to use it to seal the ends of a 40mm wide aluminum c-clamp. Extrusion of beams and the Misumi 20 series br>Because it's overpriced as home improvement trim, but it'll save me a lot of money on my t-shirt, I'm going to buy it. As a result, I'm going to give it three stars as well.
The aluminum flat mill bar arrived as advertised, but it had been bent to fit into the box. That took me by surprise. Fortunately, I can use it; however, once bent, it is difficult to completely straighten due to the work hardening process. As a result, I'm unhappy.
It's all very flimsy. It is easy to bend. If you plan to use and then reship this item, it should only be shipped inside PVC pipe. Otherwise, it will be damaged and bent during the shipping process. This is not a good idea.
Expect to pick, soak, and pick for at least an hour. There's also the glue residue to contend with.
As in. None! There are no bending properties in this material. I tried to bend it twice with a metal bender, and it nearly snapped both times before it even began to bend! I'm glad I didn't order any more. br>br> For what I require, it is useless.
For the purpose of making shims, it's adequate. I found the aluminum type to be a little softer than I had anticipated.
