No, I don't think so. I am not sure how the other reviewer was able to get it to stop the 2" clearance door unless they changed how it was made. As I pointed out, mine arrived today, which is 1 1/4" at the highest point, and my door with a clearance of 1 1/2" went
Our old doors and table are made of solid pine and weigh over 1,000 pounds each. The hinges in this set are very sturdy and strong. Our plan is to replace the center screws on each hinge with longer screws instead. If you're hanging a heavy door, this would be a good idea for extra support.

A wonderful gift has been given to me by this door stop. A good night's sleep is a gift. Three of my cats love to do what cats do best - curl up on the couch and watch TV Every morning, the train runs wide open and at full speed starting at 3 AM. As a result, I shut my door to prevent them from running over my face and waking me up every other hour. This is incorrect. The bloke can't stand being shut up in a closed door. His paw is hooked underneath the door and he squeaks against it. This is non-stop. In one instance, I was so tired from not getting any sleep that I cried because I was so overtired for work on the next day. We decided on this one because it was cheap and it looked like it would be a good buy. The answer is yes. I have no trouble keeping my door closed all night with this bad boy. I haven't been woken up by a rattling door once during the last few days I've been using it. It would be 10/10 if I recommended it.

A very solid piece of work. The description does claim that the door wedges can secure up to a maximum of one inch off the floor There is no truth to that! There should be a photo of the front of the stopper added to the description and the description should be changed. I apologize for the weak quality of the pictures, but you can still see that the wedge is not nearly flat on the front edge. Although I am not returning it because it is not worth the price paid, I am very unsatisfied with this product. Update I have sent this back. In fact, I returned another product for a refund since I had to do so for another item.
This item is described as a 5" size! The number 1 does not apply. The door stop was 25" from the floor and I was able to easily clear it!.
Well, I guess. My apartment with hardwood floors, as well as under a door, were used to test this item. In that case, the door DID open when I attempted to push it open, and the wedge slid along the floor as I tried to push it There were no problems opening the door when the door stopper was in place.
My door moved every time other doors in the house opened and closed due to air pressure, so I bought this to stop it. The purpose is basically to try to keep the door "really" closed. Worked perfectly well for two weeks. Then stopped working. The mat may have done better if the door's weight were pressing on it, but no matter how hard I've tried to stick it underneath the door, it simply doesn't "stick" to the wooden floor under the door, just slides and slips away from it.
