I really like your Adding drawings to the listing will be done soon. I have been using #9 deck screws to fasten it to my shed in the meantime, and the hole is a #10 (3/16"). It was more about convenience than anything else when deck screws were used. It would be better if bolts were used. If you wanted the bolt to lay flat on the bar holder, you would need a bolt with a head that takes advantage of the countersink. The structure is well-constructed and perfectly solid. This is versatile it can be used to fit whatever length is required. That mechanism in my storage shed is a thousand times better than the one that came with it. We are confident this will deter casual thieves and that anyone who attempts to defeat it will have to make so much noise that I and/or my dog will be alerted to the situation.
