It seems pretty simple, but I do not remember any instructions. Pegs and springs are present in 2 of the pieces. The bottom peg of one of the doors goes into the bottom peg and the top peg goes into top peg. There is a latch on the door that locks it If the other door is then locked onto the first, the whole system will be functional.

In my experience, the hinges are pretty sturdy, but I cannot predict how much weight they are able to hold. I designed a shed that has 6 feet of doors. The tallest person in the room is 2 feet tall. A shiplap pine board, wider than this. I did not currently have a prediction of how much more they could support. Due to the potential for the screws to come loose in pine, my husband told me instead to get bolts that would fit in the holes and use those on the door section of the hinge, which could be driven through the door itself, but I used the screws on the side section of the hinge.

Since the existing hardware was 20 years old, we decided to download this new hardware instead of using the existing one, and we needed to replace the lock anyway, and who does not want new hardware on I enjoyed the fact that the hardware was identical to what I already had and fitted perfectly on my doors. I think this is a good product. As of now, four hinges have been installed. Installed new doors, but they had to be taken off to paint after they were installed. It seems the product was the same quality as that of the big box stores, but at a smaller discount.
A good pair of sturdy hinges that are attached to There's a bit of a flimsy lock here. Although Handel is not very secure, it does hold the door steadily shut and adjusts for a snug fit. As a security measure, I will add a padlock and hasp. It is very difficult to open the passive door because of the small slot on the slide bolt. It is tough to grab hold of them, but they do the trick. During use, the locks remain locked because they are spring loaded. The idea appeals to me.
The quality is very good and the materials are sturdy. A complete set of hardware is included. It would be a good idea to take care when installing the finish, as you can easily chip the paint.

Heavily constructed and of high quality, these hinges are built to last. Along with the matching black square drive screws included in the kit, the black finish is excellent. This is a highly recommended book.
I received this product earlier than I expected, and it was just what I was looking for. This kit is easy to install and much less expensive than trying to assemble all these components from a large hardware store.
The shed door set that this kit offers is a great solution if you need to get all the hardware together.
