There is a glossy black powder coat finish on this metal piece.
The sum of 3 x 1 is 3. It has a diameter of 5, but it is driven by a shaft
The first step is to remove the allen screw. Slide the bracket over the shaft to the desired position, reinstall the allen screw and tighten it. It was my pleasure to serve you.
The lock uses a small key, so I doubt it can be opened with your house key, even if the lock could be re-keyed I keyed it. It would be impossible to fit the house key in the lock.

My search for this item (or a similar item) took me to Lowe's, Walmart and Ace Hardware, but I ultimately had to buy it from Amazon. Aside from being half the price I would have paid at Lowes or Ace, it is good quality, arrived fast, did the job exactly as I expected it to, and has excellent reviews from other program users. Shed door latches that can be adjusted to your specifications. You can drill it with a 3/8th inch drill bit and you will be fine.
It was exactly what I was looking for when it comes to shed replacement handles. In a box store, I attempted to get a spare key cut, but the person did not cut it correctly, which did not work and I found out later that my original had been lost. You can get a replacement handle with two keys very easily. I installed it in a few minutes with no problem. As soon as possible, I will make some changes to the security setup. In order to keep the handle screws from being removed, I intend to use a through bolt and a lock nut. There was mention of the hardware being accessible from outside making it not very secure. It may be modified to make it a little more secure for the future.
As far as the product is concerned, it is excellent. It cost me $3. 00 to find an allen wrench to install this with the included screws at three different hardware stores. I have an allen wrench with stars and a hex wrench, but I have never seen a square head screw, and I have a star and hex wrench. If you use standard screws, wouldn't it be so easy to throw in the matching allen wrench?.
As I read my review this morning, I was quite disappointed in Outdoor Hardware for sending me a returned item with a key broken off in the lock. For that reason, I gave them a poor rating. My complaint was taken care of within an hour and I am being sent a new handle free of charge. I wanted to follow up and thank them for that excellent service. The previous door handle of the same type was good and very easy to install (I broke it doing something stupid). It is just what we need to keep our storage shed safe.
I had to break in to my own shed to obtain this key. It is not worth the money spent.
In my reading of the article, I did not see any mention of screw heads. In order to mount the handle, you will need a square head driver, not a Phillips or flathead driver. An allen wrench head screw is also used for holding the locking handle in place. It does not come with an allen wrench. (But being resourceful I used my allen wrenches and on screws to fix the problem.
Aside from the handle, it seems pretty nice. What was described is exactly what was received. The T handle on truck toppers differs from the standard T handle in that the shaft is longer and the end is equipped with a handle. This four-star review is because of the bent key (the only reason for four stars instead of five). Thanks to two keys, there is no problem. In such a case, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if I had a need for.
I found the service to be helpful Throughout this past summer, I built a shed from scratch and I made a large, I've been happy with the way the latch has been installed and working The test will be how it holds up with all the harsh weather over the upcoming winter and next spring. Even though it worked as described, I decided not to use the lock feature. It wouldn't be convenient to have to go into the house every time we needed the key, so I decided to install a second flip-lock The combination lock has a latch and a latch.
