Questions & Answers

The product was purchased to hold a storm door that doesn't latch to stay closed, but the door is thicker than the gap between the rollers by 1/4", what do you suggest?

If the roller is functioning properly, it should rest flush against the mounting surface of the catch when it is closed. With the roller armature riveted to the mounting plate, it will pivot upwards and the tension spring will allow the roller to rest exactly on top of your door when sticking out a quarter inch.

Do you think it will work with vinyl doors?

A vinyl door can be secured with the catch.

Is it suitable for use on metal screen doors?

If you have a metal screen door, you can use this.

A roller and a wheel?

A roller is included in this package. You need to purchase two if you want two.

I have so far had no problems
5/5

I found installing to be fairly simple. In addition, We bought this because our cat figured it out that he's a cat and he can open stuff whenever he wants. When the door is closed, it acts like a hinge that sticks out when the door is opened, opens up when the door closes and swings back to its original position when the door closes. To be more clear, I made a video that shows how it works rather than using the stock image. Neither the cat nor the dog has gotten outside.

I've found the perfect solution! I have been looking and applying for this job for two years When I tried different solutions to keep my patio screen door closed, I found a solution that was perfect for me
5/5

Is it raining and snowing? Anything I thought I did would be undone if the weather temp changed. As each time I thought I had figured out how to fix the problem, the door would swell some. That's not what I did. I was unable to shut the door. I was a bit confused at first online about how this worked and how it could be used What to do when it's time to wear it. gain access to it, you will see how easy it is to understand and how useful it is Put a screw in. I was put on by my son, who is 74 and me, not too sure how I would enjoy it as a female I would have put it on without a problem. Checked online and found the catch I like how well it is made and how well it holds up A sturdy construction. I caught an excellent fish. There was a great price, so I decided to give it a try We bought 2 of them. As far as I can tell, I have tried everything. The top and bottom of the list are caught Toward the bottom of the page. This is also a good choice. As I see it now, it keeps the old door upright and secure There is no warping anywhere now or in the future. You can open the patio door from the outside by pushing it firmly inward. However, touch the door and it is not responsive. It holds shut in the wind and does not respond when touched. The small animals are used as food. Although it is possible that big dog may learn how to push it through? The people in my family and I The USPS men are happy with the new system. The most important thing is that I am. The process is so simple! The solution works! From inside the patio, it is a delight to see that the door closes with a gentle push and the handle clicks so easily For a change, don't care how much rain there is or how much is in the air You will see swells on the door. Joy. It's so satisfying to hear it snap into place. Conditions of the winds and waves There was a typhoon blowing straight into the patio and it started to rain The solution to the long-standing question of "what am I going to do now?" has been found to be perfect in this case. PS>Your customer is very happy with it because there is only a small snap noise.

The feeling is really nice
5/5

I find it very useful. This is a much better option than a magnet that holds when you are close and holds on too tight, and it feels so smooth when you open or close it. You should try to install it as close as possible to where the handle is, so that there won't be a twist on On a swinging screen door, I used this and it works very well. Once I begin pushing the door open, I can feel the springy resistance long enough for the door to open. In addition, I can slam the door lightly and it will close and stay closed without bounce back. This is not true for magnets, which are flimsy and likely to bounce The installers say it is very easy to install by using just two screws and being careful not to overdo it. The installation is easy, and the door swings very easily.

I have been impressed so far, but there is still time to see
4/5

This is the screen door on my porch that has two of these. It might be okay without wind if there is none. It gives me confidence that the door will stay in place no matter how windy it gets. My third one will be on its way if it doesn't. The number of required multiples might seem weak if it requires a lot of them. That is not the case, according to me. It is incontrovertible that a door can be kept closed at any time. I'm sorry, but A door should easily open and close if you'd like it to stay closed against winds of 20mph, and that is probably not what these are designed for. In the event the doors were made to be so tight that they could withstand a hurricane, then it would be difficult (unpleasant) to open them regularly. My personal preference is to keep the door in place and not make so much noise with these. The wind makes the door bang open and shut against the latch at night. I prefer that the door is in place with these than making so much.

Perfect for wooden screen doors that need to be retained
5/5

In our case, our screen door was having problems closing smoothly into the It's really nice how well this keeps the bugs out and your door closed. So far, it has performed flawlessly, even with a very minimal amount of pressure required to open and close. A lousy product picture appears on Amazon for this product. In the event that you have a wooden screen door and are interested in keeping it closed, this would be the ideal choice The hardware store cannot provide this at the moment.

I am happy with it
5/5

The indoor cat was . I bought it because he This is a very simple, easy to use program. In the meantime, my indoor cat became curious about what lies beyond the great barrier, so I decided to buy it. The screen door (also known as the screen door) has enough tension to keep the door closed despite his efforts, but not so much that the door becomes hard to open.

It seems to work fine
5/5

While I was working outside in the yard, I saw our cats crossing over our screen door to leave the house. The installation went fast and easy, and now my cats can't open our screen door and go outside. I am very pleased with the work. My recommendation is to try this out! It is very easy to use and holds our screen door tightly shut. I am able to open the screen and close it quickly, and it is exactly what we need. It is very easy to put on and takes no time at all.

I bought this to replace one which broke on a screen door and it works
4/5

I had uninstalled it because it worked but the other unit did not work. We were able to engage the old catch with the weight of the closing door. In order to get this catch to engage, there needs to be a good slam. There may be a difference since this system is new and our old system was installed in 1973 when we bought the house, so the old system may be old. My best guess is that once the dogs are engaged, the door won't be pushed open by them.
