I do not have any pets, so my answer is probably I don't. With the way the screening is held in place, it pretty much has to come out easily when it is removed (I used tubing and a staple gun). However, you are probably curious whether it will stay intact after tearing. I don't think so. The edges of it tore as I tried to pull the fabric taut while installing it. It is likely that a cat would do the same or worse if it was hanging on it.

The door is likely to be too wide for a 93" cabinet. The installation of the equipment in an opening taller than 82 inches is difficult. A fabric that measures 84" tall is used, and the spline channels consume at least 3/8" of fabric per channel.
