In the last few weeks, we moved into a three-bedroom house A three-bedroom home does not have any locks for any of the bedrooms. There are matching knobs on all the doors in the house and they are a discontinued design, so replacing the knobs with locking ones would not be practical. Our sole reason for purchasing this was for its aesthetic appeal. There is a little boy in the house and we need some privacy. Knob locks are also easy for them to unlock. It's not a good idea for them to walk in while we are talking. Worked perfectly the first time. I found the installation to be very easy.

Our kids are not able to open the doors from the inside using these devices, and they work perfectly for this. The best thing about these is that they are very affordable. They can be a bit tricky to open at first, but as soon as you get the hang of them, they will become second nature. Only in the event of an accidental lockout am I concerned It is very unlikely that it would happen, but anything is possible in theory. However, with a lot of force you might be able to get through one of these, but if your door has been damaged you are likely to sustain some damage to the frame.

A 4 year old in our household utilizes these for our front door because he has figured out all the locks and wants to help us when Amazon comes knocking. This place is out of the way and small enough that they are out of reach for him.

The family that lived next door to the family before had kids, and the lock kept the kids from opening the doors. In any event, I have no children and it gives me an extra level of satisfaction (being a single lady living alone). The other one went on the other door as well.

So far, I have not installed it, but I have another one on another door, and it seems to work well. So I assume this one will work fine, too. Locks t that work well for doors in old houses but don't work very well for new ones.

I easily got into my house through my front door. I got frustrated and started to return the product. However, I soon realized that the problem was not with the product, but with In my case, the lock fell out of engagement due to its location too far back on the door jam. In the event that the lock was not placed correctly, it locked without causing any problems and my door now won't It's a relief to know that my crafting area and my toddler are safe!.
