Yhe broken roller of the andersen is part # 7131--I need to replace it, but that's the only reference I have. is the same as the other one, are they not?

As the contents of the package are self-evident, nothing is printed on it. Four new screws are included in the package, as well as two wheel units. 1). Remove the door from the track and lay the door Remove the two screws holding in each wheel unit (4 screws total) *br>3) Remove old wheel units and discard *br>4) Put new parts back in reverse order.

Is there metal on the wheels of these?

Traditionally, plastic or polypropylene wheels have been used. The door rolled as if it were brand new after I replaced mine after about 30 years.

In 1991, an Andersen sliding glass door system was built along with the house. There were problems opening the screens because they had become balky. So I thought I would try these since I couldn't seem to get the tracks cleaned. It was very easy to install these and the difference was dramatic. It is now effortless to slide all the screens. Taking care of this long ago would have been smart.

There is an easy replacement for this

Despite 25 years of use, the screen door from 1985 still works perfectly. It was just a matter of lifting the screen door out of its track, tilting it onto its side, and removing the old rollers and putting in didn't even need to adjust them, and the screen rolled up as though it had never been adjusted.

This is an easy to install product. We now have a working screen door. It was not rolling on the track and we had to manually open it. It's amazing how such a simple little part worked so well.
