We had to use a razor and chisel to square off the corners of the door. The striker plates that came with the levers were not only too tall but also too narrow for the original opening, so we had to go online and spend another $70 to find the right style that would fit all of our doors. If there hadn't been so much "modification" and additional cost to complete the job, it would undoubtedly have received five stars.

They look great, but installing them is a pain. The rectangular part is too wide at the tops and bottoms, but the round part is 7/8, which I assume is standard. The square corners extend beyond the 7/8 round. I needed to use the drill bit to enlarge/enlarge the hole in the door.

The only reason I gave it a 4 was because one of the plates was scratched when we received it, and one of the handles was difficult to install. It had to be coaxed into perfectly latching. The other two in the set, on the other hand, were absolutely flawless.

All of the knobs and hinges on my interior doors needed to be replaced. I checked out the prices at a nearby big box store. I intended to replace the knobs one at a time, but when I came across these, I decided to buy them despite my reservations. Wow ! I'm so glad I decided to buy these because they're great door knobs for a fraction of the price. White doors with black hardware are a match made in heaven!.

We like the knobs and think they look great, but one of them arrived locked. (I purchased ten of them. ) When I contacted the seller, they requested the package's bar code, but we had already discarded it, so we essentially paid for ten but only received nine, and I still require the tenth. I had hoped that the seller would simply replace the one that was broken. They're also lighter weight, so don't expect them to be as strong as some others, but they'll suffice for interior doors. I haven't heard back from the seller yet. I would have given them a 4 or 5 star rating if it weren't for the broken one.

I ordered two of the ten-packs, with 18 doors in need of knobs and one dutch door requiring two. I did get one Schlage doorknob for an exterior door with a real lock, which was a lot easier to put in. Because these knobs don't come with standard strike plates, they'll need to be modified to fit most doors. My dutch door was the only one that didn't need to be modified, which was completely unexpected. A small wood chisel and a hammer are required as additional tools. I still have one, but the other 19 worked flawlessly right out of the box, and they've been in use for several weeks with no problems.

Two of the ten knobs were defective and could not be installed, so I gave this product two stars. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until after I'd already installed eight knobs. I was going to give this product five stars until I discovered that two of them were defective. The knob flange had no holes through which to attach the other knob when I opened the two remaining boxes (see photos) - As a result, the two that remain are ineffective. I contacted the company about sending replacement parts so I wouldn't have to remove the eight that are already in place, but have yet to receive a response.

I believe in getting a deal that is too good to be true every now and then, and I strive to be objective in all of my reviews. These knobs a lot of them were defective they're on my doors now they squeak, crack, pop, and make all kinds of sounds they look great but they're faulty I sent some back and then they sent some new ones back to me and some of the new ones they sent me were faulty as well I think out of 24 I was only able to use 12 and those are the ones that make sounds when you twist the knobs some of them don't even allow you to twist the knob except in one.
