They have a different finish from other knobs from the same company that are painted nickel. Rather than a chrome finish, it looks more like a brushed finish.
All the doorknobs in our basement were replaced recently. It was crucial to have satin nickel from the same manufacturer for all the styles we need (privacy knobs for bathrooms, bedroom door knobs, etc) so that they would all look Unlike most people, these are out of place. The look of them almost reminds me of dull chrome. Although I thought we'd received the wrong item at first, after checking the package, I confirmed that the Satin Nickel was indeed the item we had ordered. There is no match between the two. Although the installation process was relatively straightforward, the final product is far from satisfactory.
The price is great and the product is Three of them have already been thrown away. You are locked out of the room because the doors burst. The ones I bought were made of cheaply made materials, so while I tried to save money, I do not recommend them.
In our case, the lock/latch part was too long for our doors (we used Several of our other knobs/latches date back to the 1950s. A deeper hole was drilled into some doors in order to make them fit. I will use an alternative product (magnetic holds) in place of the latch for kids' and hall It has a beautiful color. Compared to what we're used to, this is a little bigger, but the way those fit in our doors is.
I replaced all my ugly old brass/gold knobs from the 1980s with them. I was able to replace these knobs in about 5 minutes with a regular Phillips head screwdriver by removing the old one and installing the new one. You do not need a drill for this. Despite the fact that they come with a tiny screwdriver, these knobs are pretty The screwdriver did not hold on to it for me to turn it even with my small hands, but it is a welcome These are awesome! I'm so glad I got them!.
All of them broke within a day of being installed. When my daughter was in the bathroom, one of the chains broke, and she got trapped for a few minutes. We were able to get her out once we got the tools. Finding a different doorknob would be a great idea.
For 25 years, I have installed hundreds of door knobs in rental properties. My problem is the lock set that goes in the door. It is thin and easily bent and if it is bent, it doesn't work well because there is not enough movement to open the door.
The knobs should have been purchased during a sale. It is a disappointment in the extreme. As a door knob replacement expert, I have a lot of experience. Although it is not hard to install, it is also not an easy task. During the installation, the metal piece in the middle where the depth of the door can be adjusted falls out of the door. It also looks cheap because the knobs are small and cheap looking. Due to the fact that I did not use one of the two boxes I purchased, I returned one of them. It would have been better if I had spent a few more dollars on the ones I bought.
