They are just like any other key, so you should be able to use them.
The keys can be rekeyed, but I'm not sure why you would want to do so. There are different keyed locks included in the set, but perhaps you would have to order them separately if you wanted different keys. It's a great item and a really good deal. All of our doorknobs and locks have been replaced with these.

They have really nice doorknobs and deadbolts - I like them a lot I like how easily they installed, how they look, and how well they seem to be built. It doesn't fit unless I take a grinder to the end to trim them down but I've only had one problem so far the key itself is about 1/4" shorter than normal, so when I get copies made they don't fit unless I trim them down. Generally speaking, it is not a big hassle, but it is not something that must be done.
Yesterday I installed these and they did come with all of the needed hardware (which is contrary to what another review Installation was a breeze, and they are even better than I expected for the price. A second issue is the latch's holes are not spaced far enough apart so that the screws can be screwed through from the front of the deadbolt to the latch and into the back of the deadbolt. This makes it impossible to align them. It would have been better if I could assemble it on the floor instead of inside the door, so I tried taking the whole lock apart. There is no way to do it.
