Several older clocks were faulty, so I had to replace two of them. It was very easy to replace the part. There is no better way to display a clock than with multiple clock hands. Additionally, both units keep time virtually perfectly. I wish I would purchase multiples of these, but considering that the original quartz clock works lasted over 40 years, I think I'll delay it as the new ones may last that long as well.

Shame on me! The order was for a gift that I had to finish making. There were no hands on the clocks- In the package, my desired hands were bent and scratched while floating (specifically, the two hands I wanted out of the kit). Because I have used one clock mechanism, I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it. Even so, I still had to go to the store, either in person or online, to buy another kit, which I would should cannibalize for two more hands. This was an expensive, frustrating, and frustrating waste of time, effort and money.

I'm sure you're fed up with junky "Made in China" kits. For a short while, the hands and mechanism of the first set of hands didn't function at all, and the clock stopped entirely after a short while.
