When I received the second hand, the paint was peeling off. It works fine and it installed fine, but when it arrived, the paint was peeling off. There was an easy bend in the hand, which was to be Be gentle when you walk. A silent clock is certainly not what we're looking at here. Although it's not a load ticking, it's still not smooth or quiet. This can be heard in a room that does not have other noises, and is distracting while listening to it. You should also have a second rubber washer or other black washer for the front. With a marker, I had to color the brass washer.
I found it to be easy to install and looks great but the time does not seem to be accurate. I threw away the packaging after I installed it, so I will have to buy a new one. Approximately 40 minutes of productive time are lost each.
The mechanism of an old DIY clock I purchased at a flea market had failed. This product has replaced it. No issues at all with the installation. The new one is great!.
