It's possible, but it's also possible. There are two of these in total. One with even numbers, 3,5,7,9,11, and one with numbers, 2,4,6,8,10. These keys aren't for winding your clock; instead, they're for figuring out which number engages your clock the best, so you can buy the right winding key.
On my Ansonia, it is effective.
They measure approximately 1" in length. The big question is whether or not the key is the correct shape.
It is available in five different sizes. I have no idea how big they are. It was an affordable price.

There's not a lot to say about it. I wasn't sure how big the key for my grandfather clock needed to be. Clearly, this was effective. It appears a little strange, but I don't mind. It appears to be quite durable, and I doubt I'll ever need to replace it unless I misplace it like the original.
