5. To complete the installation, tighten the screws with a hex wrench.
They do come with anchors, so it's possible.
To begin, drill two holes in the wall with an electric drill, then use a hammer to insert the wall anchor into the hole, place the circular base plate on the strong anchor, screw in the screw with a screwdriver, and finally attach the post to the base plate, tighten the screws with a hex wrench, and you're finished.

There's no need to spend any more money. They are a perfect match for the Kohler faucets I have in my bathroom. They work great when mounted to a solid door or into a stud. Mounting to drywall isn't as good as it could be. This type of drywall mount has never been one of my favorites. The set screw that secures the hook to the mount effectively acts as a wedge, pulling the mounting plate away from the wall. The anchors work fine if they are well-anchored in the drywall or if you replace the provided anchors with toggle bolts; however, with standard drywall anchors, the anchors begin to pull away over time due to the wedge-like effect. The set screw has an effect. Other manufacturers employ a more effective system, in which the mount is a flat disc with a groove around the perimeter into which the set screw is tightened. There is no pulling force against the drywall, so these are better. I wouldn't hesitate to give these hooks five stars if they used this style of mount.
We tried for an hour and a half to install these hooks but were unsuccessful. The instructions were useless and appeared to be for a different hook shape. We relied on our trusty-but-not-so-trusty-but-not-s The parts were not compatible, according to our next-door neighbor. We wasted a lot of time and sweat during the installation attempt.
Replacement service, on the other hand, is exceptional. These are for the front of cabinet doors under the kitchen sink that I bought. They're sturdy, and the painted finish is lovely. br>They're meant to be mounted on a wall. They project 2" and come with plastic anchors and pointed wood screws, so I had to buy nuts and machine screws separately. The instructions are clear, and installation was simple (although I did need to use a drill). br>One was defective and did not fit the hardware, but it was quickly replaced.
The hook isn't parallel to the back and isn't aligned with it. It's slanted in the wrong direction. Is it visible to you?.
I bought two of these to use as towel hooks in our bathroom. They are simple to install and have a nice appearance; they hold towels well and appear to be sturdy enough to not rip off the wall if you pull on the towel.
Most robe hooks were not going to work because I wanted a single hook without all the curves. They become more functional and versatile as a result of this. I'm even more powerful now. These worked perfectly for hanging belts, purses, and the water container for my steam iron in the closet without taking up too much space. I'm going to place another order.
In the stores, I couldn't find any square, modern towel hooks to finish our bathroom makeover. I'm so glad I found these on Amazon for such a low price; they're the perfect finishing touch. They're in a boys bathroom, so I wouldn't say they're treated gently, but they've held up well and we've had no problems with them not holding towels or robes or coming loose on the wall.
