It was meticulously installed to ensure that it hung straight. It gets off-kilter in any case- I have to readjust it frequently because it is frequently off kilter (see photo). Most of the time, I just let it dangle crookedly and call it a day. For something so important and bearing the Delta name, it's frustrating. I like that it has a Brilliance finish that prevents fingerprinting and tarnishing. br>br>.
I used to have some of these in my old house - They were chosen by my graphic designer. I didn't realize how much I missed them until I moved and had to replace them with regular circular towel "rings. " Folded towels, let's face it, aren't round; they're flat. I swapped out the rings for thee, and they not only improved the look but also kept the towels folded neatly rather than stuffed through a circular ring. They were very simple to set up. br>br> Drill two holes, attach the mount with two included screws or mollies screws, and attach the towel ring by tightening the pin at the bottom with the Allen wrench that comes with it. The ring and square chrome mount are two separate pieces. They've already been cleaned. You don't need to separate them because they're already assembled, but if they're loose when you get them, tighten the connection screw with a Philips screwdriver before installing them. It's as simple as that. br>br>My only complaint is the cost. However, it's difficult to find something comparable in terms of quality and style for a lower price:.
This towel ring has a nice weight to it. It is of a high standard. I purchased the entire set and would strongly advise that you use your own dry wall anchors. The ones that came with the package completely destroyed my wall and failed to hold any of the pieces I purchased in place. I made my own, which worked better and was more durable.
The towel ring is attractive, but it does not move like other towel rings. There's no way to move the "ring" part of it in or out of the wall; it's just an immovable arm into which you can tuck your towel. For the most part, this isn't feasible. If I had known, I would not have bought it, but this isn't a deal breaker for everyone.
This delta Dryden accessory is available at a great price. It blends in nicely with the other Dryden pieces and is the ideal size for the room. It's extremely simple to set up.
Take a deep breath. I'm in ecstasy right now. The entire Delta Dryden line is perfect, and it satisfies my desire for lux, Art Deco-style details in my design in a subtle way. completely satisfied.
Around a year ago, we bought two Delta Dryden towel rings. Both rings' set screws had fallen out about a month ago. One of them actually ended up in the toilet. I just called Delta, and they informed me that it is covered by a lifetime warranty. Delta is quickly sending out two brand new towel rings (apparently they can't just send out set screws) at no cost. I'd order from Delta again in a heartbeat.
This brass has a beautiful color to it. Although I dislike brass, I was forced to use this type of fixture for the time being. This is a good compromise.
