Simply put, this is a very easy to use tool that is also quite powerful. Keep in mind that when they say "quick cure," they mean "quick cure. " Everything should be set up and ready to go by now. If you're not careful, it will harden while you're setting up. (If you're curious, I'll tell you how I know this. ).
It is sold in small packs that are ideal for minor repairs. Simply cut the ends off the packets and use the provided "popsicle" stick to combine the two parts on a piece of paper or cardboard. It takes about 5 minutes for it to dry. I've experimented with the two-step method. Despite the higher price, I prefer these to the tubes of epoxy and hardener because they never seem to get dunked up and unusable.
I didn't need a lot of packets, so I was glad to find ten of them for a reasonable price. Best glue to use; works better than many, many brands I've tried, including any form of Gorilla glue and other well-known brands that are much more expensive.
I was even able to make use of one of my nails. This fast-setting epoxy had my hopes high. It did, in fact, set up quickly as promised. I was attempting to join two metal surfaces with a glue gun. I roughed up both pieces to ensure the glue had some groves to adhere to, based on previous experience. I was working on a coin mechanism that would prevent people from using $1 by adding a small piece of metal to it. Quarters are replaced with 00 coins. The piece had come loose after two weeks, and I was able to easily remove it. I was even able to scrape away the remaining epoxy with a nail. When cured, it was rubbery rather than hard, as epoxy should be. Very dissatisfying, especially considering the high price of ten packs. If the supplier could just refund my money, that would be great.
These small packets are fantastic. It's the ideal size for making quick repairs around the house. When I no longer require repair epoxy, I discover that the high-priced tubes or syringes have solidified. I'm willing to pay a little more for the added peace of mind.
During my time in the Air Force, I used this product for over 20 years. It is something I strongly suggest.
Always keep a spare pair of shoes on hand. Before I can use it again, the plunger version has hardened. (I don't use epoxy on a regular basis!) ) This is fantastic! It's not just a single-issue problem. I'll use it for myself because I'm looking for a small pea-sized pea-sized pea-sized pea-sized pea-sized pe a small amount of - on several occasions (For a lighted gauge, secure a contact to a plastic tab. ) ) It's a cinch to use and a fraction of the price of the larger sizes available locally.
This is by far the best epoxy I've ever used. It's something I've been using for a long time. The value for money is there. If you only require a small amount, use only that amount and reseal the package; it will last a long time.
