I'd say it's in the middle of the scale. It doesn't have any water in it. It has a syrupy consistency to it.
It's safe to use over cured acrylic paint, but latex paint is a different story. I'd guess so, but I'd first conduct a test.
Try the Stone Coat if you haven't already. This is without a doubt the most user-friendly epoxy I've ever used. This stuff works at a higher temperature than most epoxies and is about as foolproof as it gets. It is well worth the shipping cost. I wish I'd known about it a long time ago.

I'm an Evolvpourart pour artist, and for the past four years, I've been resining with Stonecoat Art Coat! It appeals to me. br>When I teach resin classes online or in the studio, we use the Art Coat! It can withstand temperatures of up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. UV protection is included. with a working time of 2 hours!! STONECOAT, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP! It appeals to me.
The bubbles, I believe, are the only thing that annoys me. Even when properly mixed, the temperature in the room is correct, the epoxy has been warmed up, and I chop and use my heat gun as directed, this product produces massive bubbles. I'm not going to keep pouring layers upon layers on top of each other. The company must assess this product. I couldn't ask for help in my group because the members wouldn't approve the post, so I had to leave because it was defeating the purpose of being in the group. Calling customer service is ineffective as well. br>br> They are completely ineffective. br>br>Had to order from Amazon because the last time I ordered directly from them, I never received my product. br>br>Had to pick up my package from FedEx at the mall because they were just driving around with the product on the truck. This company has a plethora of issues.
I liked how simple it was to use, so I made coasters out of it.
It hardens to a crystal clear finish that won't scratch or dent.
This product became grainy, and there were a lot of bubbles that I couldn't get rid of with a torch. I used it in a heated area, double-checked that everything was level, and stirred gently to avoid overmixing. I've sanded down all of the pieces and replaced them with a different resin product.
Epoxy counter in clear coat. It's great stuff. It does exactly what it says. I didn't pay attention when I placed my order and was surprised to learn that I had only ordered one gallon. Resin and hardener (each a half gallon) I would have tried a different product that was half the price if I had been paying attention.
I LOVE IT AND I USE IT FOR MY CANVAS ART.
