After removing and reinstalling some of my old ones several times, the paint on some of them had been scraped off. At least the paint on his product looks as good as the screws that came with it. There are no pieces that have paint flaking off that I've pulled out of the box. During installation, only one screw was scratched noticeably, but it took a lot of torque to drive it all the way

I should have done this years ago, so why didn't I? Some plates are a little short, but for the most part a great product! The paint on this one is much more durable than those I removed. The difference was huge particularly for someone like me who is picky about how things look.

As far as I can tell, they do their job well

As far as I can tell, they are working well, and if you are careful, you won't chip the paint in the screw slots when you tighten them, thus giving a stronger appearance to the area. There is a slight difference in the size of the heads but they are still acceptable.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Switch plates are ideal for this product. But the screws for outlet covers need to be a bit longer.
