In the 1970s, I worked as a phone operator. These were used to separate wires in a bundle or during tracing, but I mostly used them on a '66' or '88' punch down block to isolate, remove, and return a specific wire during troubleshooting. Some called them nose pickers, but the tool catalog called them probe, spudger. We called them prayer sticks because they were molded with sort of beads like a rosary. These nylon ones are more durable than the old plastic ones, and I like how the metal end is insulated. It's comforting to know that they're still available.
You could buy a pack and keep them on hand for this price.
These are incredible. I use them to sift through fibers in splice trays for fiber optic splices. Separating strands that are stuck together can be made easier by sharpening the metal tip.
These are almost ten dollars each, which is a fantastic deal!.
It is a good idea to purchase multiples because they break easily. They're something I use a lot.
The order was delivered on time. br>I used it to install Belden Revconnect data jacks, and it worked great.
thanks=received.
It was exactly what I needed!.
