Questions & Answers
To what purpose do the "wings" serve?
Whenever 66 blocks need to be terminated, I use them. Intended as a joke, however. There is a confusing mention that both sides are to be cut. Mine came with such a dull blade that it didn't even nick the cables. Hope you have a good year
Is there a 66 tip on this? What am I supposed to do with ?
As well as the 66 tip, it comes with this.
Selected User Reviews For Epsilont Punch Down Tool with 66 and 110 Blades Multifunction, Universal, Network Wire Cat6/Cat5e/RJ11/12 (Punch Down)
I really like the punch body, but the 66 blade is lousy, and the 110 blade is quite good
It is necessary to separate this review into three steps. Those who have used the punch mechanism (handle) say it There is a common punch mechanism used by most manufacturers. Having the blades swing out on this model is a nice feature. There is nothing better than having a twist-lock chuck to hold the blade. An unqualified 5 star rating. Flips around on the floor. *) The blades of the punch are mixed. I bought this tool for the 66 blade and I give it 3 stars. This tool fits so loosely, that instead of pushing the wire down, it slips around it. This SFT 66 blade is definitely a bad one (110 blade is okay. ) I bought StarTech tool where the 66 blade was okay. So it appears SFT 66 blade is definitely faulty. This tool has not been returned to me. The punch body from SFT is excellent, and the blades come.

It is great to have a handle and a punch mechanism! A lot of people talk about the Blades, but they're not good
It is great that the handle and punch mechanism are so easy to use! It is a shame that the blades are so bad. There is a big gap between the 110 cutting blade and the 110 cutting blade! As it turns out, there is no obvious reason for the non-existence of Despite appearing to press correctly, the cutting side does not. In order to do that, I'll have to use the non-lethal method To reposition the blade, flip it over to the cutting side and press a little more firmly The best way to cut is with a punch. As they say, what you pay for, you get. SFT may be able to offer a higher quality replacement blade. If you would like to receive a credit for a replacement blade, do so,

Despite the blade and cable puller tucker built inside the device being of improved quality, the device is poorly The cons are This looks like it was made with cheap materials
**Says that both sides are cut** the holder for the spare blade is a piece of trash** Pros In spite of it feeling better built, I am returning the trendnet, since this one functions and has the tools built in that make it more useful.

Knife is not included in the package
According to the listing, this item does not come with a KRONE blade. A misleading title is used by the Seller to gain I am very sorry to hear this. I think the 110 and 66 Blades look fine for this purpose and the punchdown tool itself seems to be well I just wanted to make sure everyone knows this doesn't come with the Krone blade as it is advertised, which is why I purchased.

There is a gap between the handle and the blade! cutting edge of the blade does not always land on the cutting side of the handle as it should when the 66 blade is seated in the handle
It's crucial, since anyone who knows how to use a punch-in device realizes the importance of it Up and down tools understand each other. The return window has passed so now I have to keep this useless item. The error is still garbage whether it was a design error by someone who has no concept of how these tools work or a manufacturing failure. You might also want to find one that is bright yellow or orange on the cutting side. Do not purchase one!.

Build quality of the product is poor
AFTER you insert and twist like it is supposed to, the blades are placed 45 degrees to the left. There is no question as to how the blades are supposed to be inserted and torqued as I have owned 3 among other brands. It also took me two hands to twist open the Spare blade holder, and I had to use another tool to remove the blade from it since it was wedged so tightly. It's been a few days since I tried it and I am already disappointed.

Take this piece of garbage with a grain of salt
A class bought me this punch, and I would say it is one of the worst tools I have ever owned. If it were me, I wouldn't use this tool to punch through a piece of As I sit in class, I am falling behind every grade because I can't even get this tool to cut one wire. I thought it was me at first, but my teacher came by and tried and told me to throw this out. It is highly recommended that you do not purchase.

It is important to insert the wire into the groove, hold the wire and pull it to create tension before cutting with the tool. If the tool does not work for you, it's because you don't know the proper way to use it, ask a professional to show you how.
