Did you mean the hole in the middle of the two hinges on the front of the door? About 0.018 inches of space is occupied by the small hole. There are 798 inches in a 2 meter radius. It is possible to spray paint the box, normally the paint adheres well to the box when used indoors (and when there is little sun and rain). Please see the attached PS On the other hand, if you dispose it in an area that is raining or sunny for a long time, the paint may get faded after it's used for quite a while. suggest checking with an expert and making some adjustments to stop the paint from peeling. A much better option than the residential INDOOR metal box that came with my fifth wheel. Close the lid and all the accessories are If there is a problem, you can easily check the voltage. The car must be equipped with lights, brakes, and power inside. A thin liquid tape is placed over the holes in mechanical connectors to seal them. No matter how large or small you need the hole, it can easily be drilled. Though I would have liked to have found a block of wiring for the larger wires, I was able to make do, which has nothing to do with the box itself.
Considering the size and weight of this junction box, I find it to be an optimum power source and cradle for my Bluetooth outdoor speakers. The box I got (8"x4") may have been too small, but for now I think it will serve me well. Considering the price and the quality of the box, it was pretty reasonable. It does appear that the door is attached so that it can be opened, though it may only do so to a point. As the door seems to snap off its hinges, don't push it any further since it is likely to It was important to run screws into the deck studs with care when I installed the deck. To install the screws, I first drilled four holes and then screwed the stud in. As part of the installation, I punched an additional small hole in the bottom of the junction box for my speaker wires. Now when the speaker is not in use, the power source is protected and kept waterproof. It will be interesting to see how well its waterproof capabilities hold up down the road.
It contains a series of small bumps on the bottom to provide a small gap between the bottom of the box and the screws or other connecting devices. By doing so, the box is protected against rainwater infiltration. My expectation is that this box will provide many happy years of service.
I received the replacement, and it was as I expected it to be. It installed without any problems. I very much appreciate the fast shipping, and I also appreciate the original review. Unfortunately, when I went to open the box I found that one of the clips that was supposed to hold it closed I never got to the end of removing the cellophane (see picture). I don't think the thickness, water resistance, or weatherproofing of the blanket will be functional without that clip. I'm going to come back and will update the review when I do.
I was looking for exactly what I needed in this box. It was not difficult to drill a hole and accommodate the power cord in the box since I already had some glands. There's no need for power if you are not on one.
The box is used to store and control remote batteries. This is a great item, as it is hinged and closes with latches, not screws. A battery box would be perfect for these. The construction is very sturdy and not flimsy.
It is a decently constructed enclosure in general. But I don't like the closing system or the locking The hinges will wear out with repeated usage if they are opened and shut
Despite this, the enclosure is still a good value for the price.
There is still a small gap in the seal. It seems the latches don't hold up very well, but they're not very strong either. As far as my application is concerned, it is fine. Water will be present, but not at a serious level.
