Paint will not be able to be applied to "paintable" shutters. This was a 2 month wait and the products were a total failure. According to the instructions, you should paint your shutters within 30 days after receiving them, since the shutters are supposed to have primer on them. The paint won't stick to these letters when I put them on, regardless of whether they were sitting in a warehouse too long or what the "primer" is made of. As it turns out, spray priming will never last. I am going to simply toss them.
