Questions & Answers

What is the finish of the wood Stains are possible on this material?

Unfinished Baltic Birch plywood is used for this project. A stain can be applied to the wood. One disadvantage of staining plywood is that it will show the veneers along the plywood edges. In order to make the piece look more uniform, some people stain the piece and then paint the edges with a close shade of the stain.

What kind of wood can I use for a little table I want to make for my milk?

It should be possible for you to use it as a table top. Many of our customers use our discs as

I searched everywhere in hopes of finding a 48" plywood top, but I have not been successful. ?

I don't think we would be able to make this product.

Is this something that can be stained with wood stain?

If you feel the need to stain, you can, you must understand that the piece is plywood and the sides will show the ply lines, which some stains accentuate. There are people who get away with painting the side of a piece a solid color and staining it. When you find or mix a color very close to the top, it's hard to tell the difference between the two.

Round is not the right term! It is not necessary to There is a little bit of a distortion
3/5

Two circles had to be glued together to reach I noticed that both of them were out of round when I put them together. The lines could not be aligned. My project did not require the use of this item, and I would have returned them if I had not already applied glue. It would be unwise to order from this company in the future.

A CNC-based company Is it accurate? There is no doubt that I received a Friday afternoon or Monday morning product
3/5

The plywood itself is of superb quality. There are no gaps in the stacking, and the solidity of it is evident. CNC-based systems, however, are still available The accuracy of this item appears questionable, or perhaps someone using a machine with parallax issues was operating it The diameter was 1/16" less than stated, and one of the two disks I ordered did not match the other. It is even more disappointing to learn that the thickness specified must be nominal and not actual, despite what someone said in the Q&A. It is divided into two sections. In fact, the disks I received measure 5/8" rather than 3/4". In order to make it work for my purposes, I will have to add some material.

For one piece of wood, the cost is high
3/5

Apparently, there are more than one circle, because the description said that there were circles. There weren't any details in the ad about how many books were in the pack, which was misleading as well. While the quality is good, it's not reasonable to pay $10 for a single piece of wood. Upon return, it will be credited back to my account.

A description that is accurate Birch of high quality, cut, sanded, and painted This is what was needed to develop a wall plate for a through-the-wall cable connector An additional 6" fan can be mounted on the wall to make it look more polished
4/5

This was done with a 6 After using a 3/8 in. hole saw to cut a circle, sanding and painting, the wall around the ducting hole in the drywall was mount to cover up the raggedy appearance of the hole. You can see the edges of the walls. Compared to the previous version, it looks drastically It was one of those 'fricky' projects that needed just-the-right size or material, and a 12-inch craft table was just right The circle had to be at least 12 inches in diameter. Birch of high quality I was pleased with how well the board cut, sanded smooth, and took paint well. Although I doubt I'd ever need another to complete another project, I'd certainly consider purchasing one for another project that required a 12-footer The diameter of the circle is one inch.

The way it was described
5/5

The Baltic Birch Plywood circle is 14 inches thick when cut with this Woodcrafter product. The chairs on my kitchen stools are made from them. I was pleased with how things turned out. The fact that these were thicker than the typical 3/4" thick plywood was pleasant to me The screws were therefore more stable because there was more "meat" to hold them in place. My purpose has been well served by the product.

Solid wood and thickness are perfect
5/5

I was disappointed by the flimsy round corkboard on top of the stand pictured. This original platform was ruined because of the water jug that came with it. The solid wood stand I ordered is the exact size of the inside of the stand. The porcelain jug wasn't going to be used, so I needed something sturdy to hold the plastic jug. It's a great product, solid and sturdy and it meets all the specifications. The seller shipped fast and was great to deal with. Thanks so much.

It would be perfect for a Despite being thick, sturdy and strong, this wood board was only 14 inches! A great idea to support a lot of weight! With satin ribbon I trimmed the board and covered it with fondant
5/5

I found it to be exactly what I needed! I am grateful for your assistance!.

An ideal angle is achieved by cutting Wooden shakes were used to decorate the back wall of the small closet in the shape of a "sunburst," with a circular 1/2 inch thick piece at its center
5/5

In order to make it fit with the shakes, we stained it. Despite the difficulties, we think it worked out well. It was very affordable to complete our project for the entertainment room of my "Man Cave". My sincere thanks go out to.
