In the past year, I have used this product to patch several holes in the bottom of our pool. Using it underwater is a great experience. A waterline sun "skirt" was glued on the pool in May 2020 when I bought this property. With the dry heat in Arizona, this product dries extremely fast! The glue could only be spread on two feet, six inches high, one at a time. I used a rubber ink roller to spread it. I applied glue with a two-inch brush made of hog hair, and used acetone to prevent the hair from drying out after application. In the pool the glue didn't drip, so I did not worry about it. As soon as it touches pool water, the glue peels off and can be easily removed. Vinyl is great for this product!.
There was a leak in one of my Coleman pool windows. In order to cover the window, I just used the entire 20"x20" piece of pool patch that came with the pool. A 2" deep hole was drilled below the window to drain the water. Place glue on both sides of the patch and the window and stick them together. Mark off the area where the patch will be installed. I don't see any more leaks. Vinyl is great for this stuff.
Cemex is fine. I was unhappy with the fact that it was supposed to arrive first on September 18 and then twice on September 20. It wasn't until September 24 that I received it. A part needed to be repaired for our business and my husband was unable to accomplish it. Most of the time, I have no problems. There was also a dent in it.
Strong adhesion, I live in South Texas, don't wait for the 2-days I suggest waiting 3 minutes like it says. Make sure it is well covered with a brush It melted vinyl billboard signs and I created a pond liner from them. I received my can with a dent near the cap, as it was shipped in an inadequate package.
Using this method, I don't have to spend time and money repairing lumber tarp tears. This stuff gets tacky fast and dries.
My little bit of it went into a class jar for future use, and it hardened in a How likely is it that the gallon will be useful.
Shipping was fast, and the price was reasonable.
I am very satisfied with this product. In the condition I received the products, they appeared to have been thrown around everywhere. We were lucky that it did not leak in any place. The container that was ordered was in that condition, and I hope the one I just received is not in that condition, as it makes it difficult for me to store.
