This is junk! A second one has been bought by me

The boxes that came with both had door sensors that were split in half. In less than two weeks, it started making a squeaking noise from the driveshaft on the motor, and the door sensors on the actuator have failed, making it difficult to open and When I first contacted Genie technical support, it took them a few weeks to Since responding to their inquiry three weeks ago, I have yet to hear back from them.

Please note that this only applies to SECTIONAL doors! There is no indication of this in the information. According to the installation instructions, the sectional doors are the only doors that the product works with. It has been confirmed by Genie Customer Service that the model 3053 will not be compatible with sectional, solid It is crucial that the description include this information. As a result of failing to include important information in the description, I had to return this item.

This is awful! Worked fine in the past, but now it doesn't! I installed it, but it doesn't connect to the wireless network

The customer service is useless. They just direct your calls to one person after another. Install then uninstall to return it would be better unless you like the hassle of doing so.

I have been working out for about a week now, and it is going well

There was not a single problem. The system was installed and programmed by me in about 3 hours. It is very quiet, compared to my last opener, and I am happy to have the sensors (did not have them before). It has not been an issue with the WiFi and I do not like having to download a thousand apps for smart devices, but the Aladdin app was easy to install.

Carefully follow the instructions in the drawing. It is not possible to present items in a simple sequential order. In order to grasp what you need to do, you need to look at a number of different drawings Please make sure that you don't miss any, otherwise you'll wind up like me and will need to Thus far the system has been very quiet and has worked well. I found it difficult to put together just the way it was.

I have been a disabled veteran for many years and I was able to install this myself (albeit slowly). Due to the fact that I was charged 300, I got a great deal. The old belt I had, was the only belt I had, so I paid the repair man $80 to put it back on.

I have been using it 24/7 and it's been 100% reliable since then. It was easy to install and my son and I installed it in a couple of hours. My other screw may need to be replaced, so I may purchase a second unit You Must Drive (Loud! 1) the I highly recommend this book!.

Getting this up and running is easy. This can be done by one person in a couple of hours. The hardest part is getting the Wifi to work.
