My two Can Am X3s were bolted to the trailer with these straps! My crawler hauler is 44 feet long, with a 20 foot camper and 25 feet of open deck. Because it is so long, the trailer vibrates a great deal. The straps didn't budge after 6 hours of driving last weekend! There aren't any side rails, so there aren't any issues! These straps easily slip over my outlaw 3 38s and bkt 37s. They'd fit a 40 or even a 44 in them! I'm a big fan of these straps. I purchased a total of eight of them, and they are well worth the money!.
I did an excellent job of holding the low-profile car to the trailer. Easy-to-rig straps did an excellent job of holding my low-profile Camaro to my car hauler. The car remained in place once I figured out the proper angle for setting the webbing. There was not a single inch of play in the straps after nearly 800 miles of towing. I even added two more straps around the axles for added security, but they were unnecessary. When compared to a strap with a hook, the chain on the ratchet side makes a significant difference. I adore my car, and I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to drive without worrying about the car coming loose on the trailer, as has happened previously with a different tire web tie down. Also, when I was ready to remove the car from the trailer, the straps were quickly released. The money spent on straps is well spent. I would strongly suggest it.
Let me just say that after watching the video review hyping up the product and such, I went to a semi truck dealer and got the real deal thick wax coated or whatever straps that were far superior to the vulcan brand, and the price was $40 less at the brick and mortar store semi truck shop for a better product, who would have guessed nowadays. How's that for a review? Taught me a lesson to stick with the brick and mortar guys.
It was well worth the money. Tie down is simple and quick. The quality of these tie downs was excellent, and they were incredibly simple to use. If you run into any problems, they have some excellent YouTube videos. However, they are as simple and straightforward as you can get. The quality is excellent, the ratchets are extremely heavy-duty, and the entire package is well worth the price. br>br>I was so pleased with them and how well they performed, as well as the ease with which they could be tied down, that I went straight home and logged into Amazon to write a review specifically for this product. br>br>Very pleased with them.
On a 150-mile trip through the mountains, it kept my car in good shape. However, I found it difficult to set up on my own the first time. That is not the reason why I always wear straps. br>br>Also, the hooks weren't wide enough to accommodate the D rings in my setup. The chain had to be pulled through the ring and back to its original position. I was almost too short to hook up tires on a regular sized vehicle, get enough tension, and pull straight down as shown in the video. A truck tire would have had plenty of room, but not so much with a car tire.
It was my first time using lasso straps, and I was a little nervous. The straps did not loosen after 50 miles. The car did not move.
The chain end on the ratchet is great for going through the stake pockets on my trailer; I wish the strap end was a little longer, but I ended up going through the rim on my jeep, which worked fine. Ratchet also works with other straps.
On our 1600-mile round trip, they performed flawlessly and the cars did not move an inch. Plus, it's of excellent quality. I would definitely buy from them again!.
