These slings are ideal for the purpose for which I purchased them. I use these as safety straps when squatting heavily. I use carabiners and short double end straps to secure them to my power rack, then feed the bar through the eye loops on the opposite end. br>br>The stitching is extremely strong, and the straps are capable of carrying far more weight than I will ever be able to. My purchase has made me extremely happy.
These are tough like they were in the 1950s. This is an excellent addition to a set of pallet forks.
The straps appear to be well-made and incredibly durable. They're an excellent complement to a tractor's front-end forks. loader at the conclusion Obviously, chains are required for extremely heavy loads - However, for lighter loads, not having to worry about tearing up paint or scratching up metal like a chain can is extremely convenient.
I own a one-man shop and work as a woodworker. These slings enable me to hoist my heavy machines for assembly and/or repair without requiring the assistance of another person. They're one of those small tools that, once you have them, you'll wonder how you ever lived without them; they're extremely useful. The slings are well made and reasonably priced; I use the 1 inch wide 3 foot long slings, which have worked perfectly for my woodworking machines thus far. br>br>By the way, I think the flat eye (Type 3) is best for this application because the space where I need to thread the sling through is usually quite small. Less clearance is required for the flat eye.
I use them on booms with application equipment and wherever I can't use a chain because of paint, I got the 2" and 3" built very well.
I have a large dog and do not trust commercially produced dog leashes. I made one with this and a steel easy link because most are junk regardless of price. Approximately a 1. The pull force is 5 tons.
This 8' x 2" sling is of exceptional quality.
I bought it so that I could use my John Deere 1023e tractor to lift heavy items out of the pickup bed. The open loop slides securely over the hooks, which are installed on the bucket's top rail. I used two of these and a third hook in the middle to keep my lift in the bucket's center. It's the perfect length and doesn't scratch up your clothes like a regular chain would. Highly- highly recommend.
