Although there is no marking on the metal and no information on the package, they appear to be of good quality.
There are four d rings in each package.
The 5/8 D rings I bought were made in the United States.

They get three stars because they're weld-able. on D- Rings and a good price for a four-piece set. pack. They're not very well finished, so don't expect much more. The fit is sloppy, and the weld-on piece is too short, allowing the D-ring to move around a lot. Ring. The D- When you only need a 3/8's D-ring, the ring is actually too big. Ring. br>br>Of course, I made use of them; They're going to function. However, if this was a paid job, I'd be a little embarrassed.
For the past 30 years, I've worked as a welder and fabricator. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get a good clean burn on any of them. This metal, whatever it is, is extremely porous and quickly turns to molten garbage when heated. It's a real drag. It has the appearance of contaminated pot metal when it is welded.
It's made of solid steel. 👍. Eight of these were welded to my Karavan 5x10 Utility Trailer. Because it has fold-down/removable sides, I needed dependable and secure tie-down points. I got the 1/2" ones, which are very sturdy, but I didn't have time to go back and get the smaller 5/8" ones, which would have looked better on the smaller trailer.
Mine is on a skid steer bucket and a flatbed trailer that I own. I've tightened them up with snap and ratchet binders, and they've held up well so far!.
Thank goodness I didn't have to deal with any metal-related issues. When welding your trailer, you'll get fume fever! Simply degrease them thoroughly before putting them away.
I didn't get the weld-on rings I had hoped for, but I did get the bolt-on ones. I couldn't wait any longer for my project, so I cut the brackets to match the ones I ordered and welded them in place. While putting them on took an extra 45 minutes, they turned out beautifully, and I am very pleased with the end result.
One was used to attach a specialized picker to it. Multiple times I shock loaded it. I couldn't have asked for a better solution. Thank you so much for everything.
