It had a couple unique features that led me to buy it over some other tablets I had seen. The other brand is the one I recommend not. There are some unique features, such as the ability to set a temperature range. If it isn't the right fit for you, you can try again. A fan can be set to come on at 74° but not go off until 72°. Basically, I only have a set or target temperature in a simpler model I have. It is much easier to use that way, and I did not have to deal with constant on-off issues. Also, it has the delay feature, which is unique. This will turn the entire unit off if you use it with a small (watch the wattage rating) air conditioner (5000 or 6000 BTU).
