The perfect solution for my problem
5/5

Near the middle and top of the refrigerator, the air was very little or no circulating. Since the fan is connected to a low voltage, unplugging the refrigerator was not necessary. The replacement and installation took 20 minutes.

The sound of what sounded like a prop plane preparing to take off from inside the fridge was sometimes quite audible, but I never knew its source
5/5

(This is confirmed by many other owners) I chalked it up to the extremely noisy fridge. The water dispenser froze as well when it became icy. Übrigens, the freezer is always kept at zero degrees (keeps it frozen).

I found this fan online (a newer model than the OEM) and ordered it and installed it. The fresh food compartment probably would have collapsed if it weren't for one small part. In my opinion, the original models were plagued with numerous issues that have been addressed in this replacement/newer model. It is a beautiful fan and I am extremely happy with it.

Disconnect the refrigerator from the wall outlet
5/5

The slide housings for the bottom shelf should be removed. You will need to remove the rear evaporator cover carefully.

Embedded firmware is included with the motor kit
5/5

Putting it in and letting it run for 15 minutes should do the trick. You can see what the status is and what the instructions are through the lights.
