As I walked through the kitchen one morning, I noticed the control panel on my Samsung refrigerator was flashing and the temperature did not seem as chilly as I had expected. The repair guy I usually use answered my call. I was told the evaporator coils in the fridge were probably frozen (this is apparently a common problem), and to let the fridge thaw I would have to turn it off for a full day. I agree with you This is what I did. Despite our best efforts, the refrigerator still wasn't working the next day. The service technician took off the cover and found no ice and diagnosed a fan fault.
