If the burner got too hot, the chrome ones discolored almost immediately. Moreover, no matter how quickly and thoroughly I cleaned any burned-on spills, they always left a mark. Although chrome looks great initially, it remains that way for only a short period of time. Though I quickly became accustomed to the new look, I did notice that the black ones look different. Months later, they look just as fresh as they did when they first arrived.

There was a damage to the first set of pans. A return was done the same day. I ordered again the same day. On Monday, June 18th, 2018 I printed out a return label and returned it, and I received the reordered pans that same day. Despite being in perfect condition, this set was in excellent shape.
If you're ordering these for a Whirlpool range, they will fit perfectly.

Does it matter that I rent? Obviously, I have had this appliance for a long time, and it's always awful. It's cheap and takes forever to learn how to use. I am accustomed to dealing with Kenmore and Frigidaire appliances, so I don't know what to expect. When I move into a new apartment, I always bring a set of these drip pans with me. With this set, you get a lot of basic things that are perfect for everyone. I found that the burners sat at an angle due to drip pans on top of the stove when I moved into the house. I believe you have seen this before, It is the opening to the burner plug that is the cause. My pans sit on the stove level and heat more evenly with this drip pan set because the plug side of this drip pan set has a larger opening to let the burner rest properly. My rental property's dip pans are easily replaceable when I move in and I take them with me when I move out, leaving the flimsy but still shiny faux chrome ones behind for the next tenant. I am grateful to Amazon for offering.

I ordered this to fit my Whirlpool built-in stovetop. It is stated in the description that they are It surprised me that they were heavier than I had expected. Up to this point. This is great. Whether they are easier to clean will depend on how long they last. Certainly, they do not show grime as much as the original silver pans did.

I have a Frigidaire electric stovetop that is easily over 30 years old, maybe closer to 50 years old. 15 years ago, I bought the old farm house, which was old by then. Wally World sold every kind of drip pan they had available, but I returned each of them because they didn't fit my stovetop (or the electric elements didn't work). In these cases, yes. This is all I can tell you. I like the fit of these. After the rusted out relics were finally taken out of my range elements, I could finally clean up my range. It's much better than the one that I had where they kept falling apart. Even if they only last a year, it's much better than what I had before.
