By looking up the part number for the oven I was working on, I was able to order it from Amazon. Your parts manual will need to be checked to ensure your application is compatible.
The only thing I know is I once ordered a dress and it didn't fit properly, so I returned it. However, I never received credit or a refund I won't be ordering from them again.

After that, screw the old part back in your oven with the screws. Although this new control board does not come with the specific color face plate that matches your original model, it does come with a manipulable adhesive, which you need to attach to the new unit. Peel the plastic facing from the existing unit and attach it properly to the new component. While the old part is still hanging from the back of your oven, disconnect the wires from it, and connect them one by one to the new part. Since you will be connecting each wire one by one, it is very important to make sure you are connecting each two ways. 2. 3. 4. Turn on the electricity and make sure the oven is working properly once all the wires are secured. Then, place the oven back in its usual location. In my case, this was the first time I've replaced a control board for an oven, and I found some good YouTube videos to help me through the whole process, and it wasn't hard at all even for those who are mechanically challenged.

My old oven control panel shorted out due to age and I bought this to replace it. My old chair was very easy to take off and replace with the new one, but I am having trouble with the buttons since I have exactly plugged all the wires in how they were on the old one. Hit the timer button and I'll set the bake to bake. Could anyone else tell me if this problem is unique to them? Is it possible for me to change them through trial and error (that will be a pain in the ass) or did I fully screw it up? Could you please help me with this.

The current module was causing runaway oven temperatures, so I bought this one to replace it. During the first two weeks of its existence, this new one initiated the same behavior. It has been intermittently having this runaway temperature problem since it was a Kenmore oven 12 years ago. Our team has narrowed down the source of the problem to the electronic control module, and we have been replacing it repeatedly for We have never had a module fail so quickly as this one did, despite it being our fifth. It was a total joke of a warranty. If you have any warranty questions, Amazon said to check with the manufacturer. When I contacted Frigidaire, they said we could not get help as our oven is a Kenmore, so they instructed me to contact I contacted Kenmore, but they said they could do nothing since we hadn't purchased the module through Returning the item within Amazon's 30-day return window was the right thing to do.

The relay on my previous control board literally blew up the moment I turned it on. It is rather cheap to attempt a fix rather than spend hundreds of dollars on a new oven because I researched and found this item. My new board was also easier to reconnect than my old one, and I thought that the design was actually more attractive than that of my current board. I was pleased to find that there was an actual wire harness between the PCBs rather than bent metal pins, which was a nice touch.
Everything fit well and worked without any problems, and everything was ready to use right out of the box. There were just a few differences in the buttons. It was easy for me to find the correct overlay and use it, so all the buttons do their jobs now!.

The part came in fast and I was able to replace the old kenmore circuit board with this one after checking the sears parts store. I had no trouble installing it. So there was no confusion, at the same time I took out a wire, I immediately connected it to a new one. In order to remove the old faceplate, I simply used a hairdryer and carefully peeled it off, then replaced it Thanks to Amazon, we can buy anything we want! It's a good thing I have now so I can see it through until we sell our house.

I plugged it into my oven and it worked like a charm. Here are some tips on how to install Whenever you remove the faceplate from your old control board, I recommend heating up the adhesive that surrounds the outside edge of the faceplate with a hair dryer. By heating it up and pulling evenly and slowly from one corner, you can peel it off without damaging the control board and attach it to your new one. The adhesive is only around the edges, so focus the heat there and peel it without damaging the board.

The old unit matched the Frigidaire part number 96122405, which had connectors and a similar size to the new unit. You will need to unplug the pin connector by first releasing about five color-coded wires at a time. A total of four hex head screws affix the unit to the wall. Using the cover from the original unit will allow you to reuse it on the new one. Peel it off with care and apply it to the new cover. adhesive tape around the perimeter of the face is very strong, and while in a hurry, I pulled a small piece of white enamel from behind the clear plastic for touch up, so I used Some White Out to cover it up. My small screw driver I used to peel it off also left a few small blemishes caused by pressing too hard or bending too much in one area. I let it dry for a couple of minutes longer before attempting to remove it. That is why I am so glad that I took the oven to the curb prior to throwing it away.
