I hate it. It is a thin silverware basket that is light in weight. It was a big let down! Our Kenmore Elite dishwasher fits it perfectly, but that's about all it has going for it. One of the swivel tops on the side basket is broken, and that is not able to be used or fixed, but more importantly, this is ridiculously fragile. Our old basket is disintegrating at the bottom due to the heated dry cycle. Therefore, we will be replacing it. We will no longer be able to securely put silverware in our basket. It's easy for them to slip There is nothing heavy about this cheap replacement, but its bottom is thin. It is in fact the thinnest part of the entire basket that makes up the bottom of this piece of trash.
I have a replacement basket for my dishwasher that holds the silverware, but it is smaller and lighter than the original that was supplied with my machine. As the basket is lightweight plastic, it doesn't feel secure on the bottom shelf and is so light that it cannot stand up by itself. To hold in place the basket, I bent some of the prongs of the plate. It is a little difficult to use some of my basic dinner knives through the holes in the basket covers. A lid on the center section would be better - it would be easier to remove A hinge or means of locking it down does not exist, it sits just on top of the basket and does not lock itself in place. As a result, I expect I'll need to replace it very soon as it meets the requirements of my purchase.
I found the product to be as advertised and appears to be sturdy and reliable.
