For up to 5000 cups, forget about descaling; the micro-porous filter naturally removes calcium and, thanks to ion-exchange technology, your machine will not clog.

The purest coffee comes from pure water, which is optimally purified by the patented water flow. A microporous filter blocks any impurities.

AquaClean deactivates the descaling alarm when activated, and it's simple to install and use thanks to the click and go system.

Do you know what's on the other side of this filter? The contents are identical to those found in a $5 brita filter. Ion exchange polymers and activated charcoal are two examples of ion exchange polymers. What's even better is Saeco's promotion of it as a must-have in hard-water areas. No, not at all. Is there anything wrong with this product? No, it isn't, and it isn't worth the $20 you're about to spend on it. If you don't get this, your coffee maker will suffice; don't make the same mistake I did. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: Now that the price has dropped, I've changed my rating to three stars.

THE PHILIPS 3200 IS INCLUDED WITH THIS

I made the mistake of purchasing this along with my Philips 3200, assuming it didn't come with one because Amazon insisted on selling them as a package. br>It turns out that what they wanted me to do was go out and buy a spare. Sure, I'll need it at some point, but the 3200 already has it. So there's no need to purchase if you're also purchasing a machine today.

This is an excellent cleaner, decalcifier, and maintenance cleaner for my machine; all I have to do is take it slowly, be patient, and follow all of the instructions.

Very let down

Very let down. In the sealed bag, about half of the filter's contents were freely laying. So I'm guessing I'll need to replace the filter in 45 days or less.
