Questions & Answers

Is this also compatible with bun coffee makers?

Without a doubt. This product has worked flawlessly on all of my coffee makers, ensuring that they continue to run smoothly. I make a living as a caterer, and this product has kept my equipment from going out of service.

Do I follow the deLongi instructions or the ones that come with the product when using this on a deLongi?

When using the Durgol decalcifier, I have always followed the deLongi instructions. If you ever lose or misplace the instructions, simply google the manual and download the pdf to follow the deLongi instructions. I own two of these machines, and they're fantastic. As long as you keep them maintained, they'll last a long time.

Have you tried it on your Saeco super automatic?

I've had no problems using this product with my Saeco Odea Go for many years.

Product that works like a miracle I was able to save my espresso machine after it had been neglected for a long time
5/5

This is a fantastic item. I'm going to have to admit something at the outset of this review. I had no idea my espresso machine needed to be decalcified! I've had the same espresso machine for at least seven years and it has never decalcified. I do live in an area with extremely soft water, which is why it worked at all. However, it was operating at a snail's pace, taking an eternity to fill the small carafe with espresso. After learning that I needed to decalcify on a regular basis, I assumed I'd have to replace my espresso machine; however, I decided to try Durgol Decalcifier instead. Instead of doing it once, I did it twice in a row with both bottles, following the instructions for a 50/50 dilution with water. My machine had been rejuvenated to its full potential. It was functioning as it had when it was first installed. I can't say enough good things about this product; it's a fraction of the cost of a new espresso machine, and I'll buy it again.

BREVILLE BARISTA EXPRESS IS NOT FOR YOU - Make sure you don't throw your money away
3/5

Pour one four, according to the directions. 5 oz. 4. Place bottle in reservoir 5 oz. of water. br>This amount of liquid is insufficient for the machine to function; it barely makes it to the water intake hole. br>At the very least, you'll need two bottles.

It appears to work, but the instructions are terrible
4/5

When the heating element on my Rocket espresso heat exchange machine failed after two years of use on fairly hard water, I was very disappointed. It's probably for the best, because when I replaced the heating element, I looked inside the boiler and thought to myself, "Man, you really need to descale that stuff. " Who knows what would have happened to the machine if I had waited a little longer. br>The cleaning process produced some smelly, dark brown water, so this stuff seemed to work. I didn't want to disassemble the machine again, so I couldn't tell if it removed the majority of the scale. The instructions, on the other hand, are completely insufficient. It says to dilute 50/50 with water and pour it in the water tank; I doubt whoever wrote them had ever seen an espresso machine. What happens after that? Should the tank be filled with water before using it because that amount of liquid is insufficient for the machine to start? If that's the case, the descaler would be diluted far more than the 50/50 ratio suggested. There will be no comment on that. So I just went through both bottles in the tank and double-checked that the water level was sufficient for the machine to operate, which was around 0. 7 liter. br>I won't buy it again because I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly, the instructions are useless, and there's very little information on the internet about how to use it properly.

In our Gaggia-based study, we had excellent results
5/5

Classic ! What I didn't like: There were no flaws. . . this product did exactly what it said it would do. br>What I liked:br>Our 20-year-old son. year- Inside and out, the old Gaggia Classic sparkled like new metal, as did all the surfaces that had darkened due to the oils, etc. , from making Espresso. Over the course of 20 years of maintaining our lovely old house, I've used a variety of 'descalers' and "cleaners. " girl. The "Gaggia" brand is a bit on the pricey side, and after using a citric-based cleaner, it's even more so. I noticed that despite using an acid descaler for years, the scale in our (replaced) boiler had not been effectively removed, as it had significant resistant calcium-based scale. build-up of scale To give credit where credit is due, 'citric-acid-acid-acid-acid-a We didn't use the words "softened/de-" because we didn't want to use the word "acid. " In our early years of using the machine, we used "calcified" water, which could have contributed to the boiler's hardening calcium buildup. When I use the 'DURGOL-' command, I'm looking for a unique way to express myself. Swiss- With the URNEX 'CLEARLY COFFEE' decalcifier in the water, I also add a little URNEX 'MADE' decalcifier. a storage facility These 2- The ingredients work well together to create a gleaming, brand-new look. That is why I have stocked up on this item. . . our Espressos taste purr-fect! PERFECT! There's no bitterness, just a clean, pure coffee flavor, and the machine enjoys it, running quietly and smoothly. I'm hoping for a positive outcome in our real-life situation. life experience, as depicted in a Gaggia commercial Classic Espresso Machine will assist you in selecting the best "solution" (pun intended) for your espresso machine!! Note: Because different descaling products are made for "aluminum/brass/copper" and other metals, you should consider the type of'metal' used in your machine's boiler. Swiss- Special is a fantastic product for our Gaggia aluminum. Thermodynamic-style clothing a boiler with blocks.

However, it is expensive
3/5

The instructions aren't all that helpful. Durgol is a demon who can be summoned. The scaling solution is what the people who sold us the espresso machine recommend; it's easy to use, but the price is shocking; I'd like to descale our machine more frequently, but I don't because of the cost. Another point to consider is that both the solution and the water have a very small volume. Larger boilers may be too big for the diluted solution's volume. Because my boiler is quite small, I'm not sure about that. However, the solution and water levels in the water tank are initially quite low. It's probably effective because gray mineral deposits are flushed out after use. br>br> Is this, however, due to the fact that I've only been de-stressed for a short time Every three months, do you scale up? I've since switched to Citric Acid because it's much less expensive ($7 for a bag that should last several de-icing sessions). Operations are being scaled. The Durgol will probably be used once a year, while the Citric Acid will be used on a monthly basis. If money and size aren't an issue, you should purchase and use this product without hesitation.

However, it works perfectly
5/5

This product did an excellent job cleaning my Gaggia Carezza Silver manual espresso machine. It now performs as well as it did five years ago when it was brand new. br>However, take this advice with a grain of salt: After you've descaled as directed, rinse with water (as directed) IMMEDIATELY (unless otherwise specified). Don't make the same mistake I did - I let it sit for about 20 minutes before rinsing it. As a result, the chemicals in the solution dried on the filter plate, causing it to become blocked. Removing the filter plate and soaking the chemicals in hot water was simple. There is no risk.
