The only one who can say it is me. I would expect this to come with straps or clips which would hold the boards together for $56. The thing they don’t tell you is critical, and you need to know about it. With the markup they've got on it, you'd expect the hardware they ship with it would be at least grade 8 so it would be able to stay in place when installed.

I find these to be very good- I made it. There are some beautiful welds on that piece. In cross country skis (thinner skis), it is relatively easy to put vinyl tubing around the rods in order to make them grip In addition to my snowboard and my wife's skis, I also bought skis for my four kids and four sets of cross-country skis for my wife. In addition to sending them a link to these racks, I sent them a postcard describing my brother's new home and garage. There is a great deal of space to be saved. It is close to the wall where the skis are. There is also enough space between the skis and the wall that stores them that it is easy to get out of the car.

The boards are easy to install, but there is no mention of securing the bottom. To make the straps, I used Voile. On the single board, I also used a rubber door wedge to secure it, and it was not a problem. Exactly what I needed to fit into my limited space.

It's a good product, but to put two snowboards in the rack, you'd better have something to hold them together.

The installation process is easy.

It was easy for my husband to install. Our boards are held well by the board. This appears to be a very durable and strong product.

Product of high quality.
