Waxing iron with a temperature range of 80 to 170 degrees Celsius (176 to 338 degrees Fahrenheit) that heats up quickly.

The thick baseplate measures 4 inches in diameter and is 5/8 inch thick. 1" x 5. 7" in diameter and grooved for even distribution of wax

The handle on the cord swivels to allow it to stand on its end.

The voltage is 120 volts and the power is 1000 watts, with the frequency being 60 Hz. The plug is standard in North America.

Is it necessary for me to purchase wax?

Yes. You'll have to go out and purchase some wax. You start by heating up the iron, then pressing the wax against the heat plate and drizzling it on your ski or snowboard bases. The wax you dripped on your bases is then melted in by running the iron over it. To scrape away the excess wax, you'll need a scrapper. If you need specific information on how to wax skis/snowboards, you should look up how to wax skis/snowboards on YouTube.

Excellent Iron for Waxing at Home

For the money, you can't go wrong with a solid wax iron. I really like the thick base plate because it keeps the food hotter for a longer period of time. Even when it's cold outside, I wax and tune in my garage, which is warm. Distribution of wax is good. There was never a time when I was too hot or too cold. Iron of exceptional quality.

It's a breeze to wax

The iron is hot all the way around the plate, and the cord is long enough. With this iron, I believe almost anyone can learn to wax their skis or snowboards decently. After 8 to 10 runs, the wax will be gone, so you can wax every time you go. This is a useful tool for doing it yourself and saving money while keeping your skis and board in good shape. It is something that I would suggest.

It's difficult to see control light

This iron is very nice and simple to use. "When the light goes out, the wax iron is ready to use," the instructions state. "However, the light is so dim that it's difficult to tell if it's turned on or off. " However, cupping my hand over the light solves the problem.
