Back when I was a kid, growing up in the Soviet Union, I had one of those. These original military issue shoes are still in excellent condition. Hats are some of my favorites in the winter. I am telling the truth, so trust me. The Soviet Military Hat replica is as close as you can get to the original. The impression I got was impressive. As a Christmas gift exchange, I bought it and found it difficult to part with. As it turned out, one of the most thoughtful gifts of the night was also this item. I am happy with its workmanship and it is very warm my only complaint is that the pin (emblem) thing on top is very difficult to attach. Video games that contain Russian spy characters or spy elements are my son's favorites. During his birthday, he became very interested in Russia and asked for a hat like this to wear. The jacket is worn all the time, every day, and he gets lots of compliments from people. The fact that he hasn't destroyed it yet (it's been a month) suggests that it is durable. A medium fits an 11 yr old just fine. I'm pretty sure the NSA will be stopping by our house soon to investigate reports that there is a very short spy living in our house.
